How you will get job from Elance? Some tips---

It's not very difficult to get any job from Elance for the experts through their different skills. I also got job myself at the first bid. So avoid the tension about Elance before being an expert in any subjects, otherwise your time will be wasted. You can meet the client's Requirement before submitting your Proposal. First of all, give the skill test if you do not give the test groups with the skills. Then you Submit your Proposal. Some tips/advice about the proposal are below.

Click here to open an Elance Account

* Take a look at the client's Proposal if you are asked to write something. For example, ''Please mention “Word Press Expert” top of your application to avoid being spammed.'' In this case, you must write the following quotation mentioned above like "Word Press Expert" at the beginning of the Proposal. Otherwise, the client will declare you as disqualified candidate without reading any topic of your Proposal and you will lose the valuable Connection for a month.

* After that, view if the client's payment method is verified, if not look at his username.

(a) If you get some semblance of the name from the username, write to him/her Dear/Hi (Username).
(b) If you don't get some semblance from the username, write to Dear sir/Hiring Manager.

* If the client's payment method is verified, find if he has made finished any work before. If he has made finished any work, see the feedback of any of his other work and you'll find his name there. Now and then other contractors have been mentioned the client's name in their feedback. If find the name, write the first part of his name after Dear/Hi. If the name is not found, follow the 2nd process mentioned above.

* What topic you will write on your Proposal, You'll find that at the Job Description. At first you realize clearly what clients want, you will find many options for questioning among their demand. You ask him one or more questions with your intelligence about his project. For example, if client demands a website on the Word Press platform, saying more articles will be available on it. Your questions may be----
1. Have you selected your theme or have I to built it from scratch (from PSD)?

2. Do you have any list of website to follow, if any then please mention that & let me know what kind of features from it you need on your site?

3. Do you need the site fully optimized for On Page SEO?

After asking such type of question to the client, he will obviously understand that you are suitable for the job and you have enough knowledge since you can able to ask question about this matter.

* Your Proposal will be created with the parts mentioned above, It makes a  format with combination of all----

''Words if the client want”

Dear Sir/Name,
I have some questions to you. please answer those questions so that I can understand your full requirement.

(Your questions to client here.)

Then You write about something myself, why you want this work? You can also give a link if you have done such a task. If you have done any work in other marketplace, if you are new for the Elance, please add your profile link  of that Market place. Because recently the experts from oDesk and Freelancer are joining the Elance since the competition at Elance is low and price of a job is also higher than other Market place.

* Don't present yourself as untrained through addressing Sir/Madam to the clients repeatedly. civility reasons such addressing is enough for once, no need to appeal. Try to write the orderly text in short form. Write your proposal  with exact spelling.

* Many clients will ask you to do the work in definite time. So write your opinion on the proposal if you agree. Though you are from Bangladesh, but you will adapt the US/UK/Client 's Time and you will not be absent for a day too. Finally add the following word 'Regards/Thanks' bellow the first part of your name.

* Then look at the bid prices of other contractors and the client's budget. You apply for bid at the lower prices than the prices of skilled and experienced contractors. As a new contractor of the Elance say the clients that you will work at low price and your main object is to get job at this moment. You will find the profile links of the Bidders as well as average, highest and lowest amount for their bid prices at the end of the Job Description.

* In case of hourly job, you have to write you will finish the work in how many hours. In case of ongoing Job, enter the client's duration. You will see it before the Job Description and after the Job Title.

* If the client said 'Not Sure' about his budget and you don't understand something about it, you can check the following check box ''Will Submit Amount Later''.

* Many clients of the Elance invite the new contractors to submit their proposal for their job. In this case, you add a new line at the beginning of the proposal like '' Thank you for inviting me to your job."
